Giant Robot - Year of the Tiger Show

Conversations - 20" x 10" - acrylic & inda ink on wood

My painting for the GR Year of the Tiger Show. It's called Conversations and sort of represents what I feel 2010 is going to be for me. I'm moving to a new country pretty soon and obviously the way I converse is going to change, going to have a ton of conversations with new people I meet, and the move is also going to affect all of my relationships here in the states. I also feel like the things I am trying to say with my art is starting to evolve as well, and the year of the tiger is going to be very educational and monumental for my personal growth as an artist. Overall I'm pretty happy with the way this painting turned out, and portrays what I was trying to capture.

The show opening is next Saturday, Feb 13, at 6:30pm. I'll probably be there from the beginning, and if anybody has been thinking about adopting a pet recently, LA Animal Services will be there with pets to be adopted. Go home with a cat!!
